Toilet guts on a Saturday afternoon
Do you ever have the whole day in front of you and have no idea what to do with it? The zoo? The park? The movies? What to do? Today is that day. It is already 11:00 a.m. and I haven't even gotten in the shower yet, and before ya know it Emersyn will have to go take a nap. Then we are stuck here till 3:00. Day shot! Then we will him and haw around thinking about dinner and what to do and then we will go to dinner andddd yeah, Saturday over...ug.
Then we will do this all over again tomorrow.
It seems that ya just need a plan. That is why I like summer so much, you can just go to the pool and your day is complete. You feel like you have been outside, enjoyed the weather, got some exercise and spent time with family. Oh, and it is all under the umbrella of a pool pass. Check check check, day perfect.
Today, I had originally planned to walk around the park by the Philadelphia Art Museum but now it is a wind storm out there and I am pretty sure Emersyn will blow away. Not sure but maybe that would make the day interesting, to watch Emersyn blow away...hehe.
So, to shower or not to shower, that is the question? I mean, I do need new guts in two of my toilets, I could make a day of it and head to Home Depot for toilet guts? I know, sounds so exciting....maybe meander over to the paint department, or walk over to lighting and see what Hunter Douglas has to offer these day?
I need to get going because there is nothing worse than waisting an entire day. I remember, before kids, I would take a day like this and go to the bar all day. LOL. Or there was sitting around watching TV and smoking all day and then I'd have yougart for lunch... Wow, seems like a hundred years ago...drunk, cigaretts...hours upon hours to do nothing...weird.
Now it is toilet guts, Please Touch Museums and soccer games. Oh how life has changed. So time to get off this couch and tackel it, these toilets aren't going to fix themselves!
