Less Than 2 Weeks to GO!
We are less than two weeks away from moving into our new, larger, everyone-is-not-in-the-same-bedroom house and I can't wait. It has been a long, grueling process and I am not 100% sure it still is a "done deal," but from what I can tell I should be sipping a glass of bubbly from my back porch by Saturday the 14th!!
The house isn't exactly a fixer-upper, but lets just say lead paint, asbestos and "nob and tube" electrical for starters.... but this is all on it's way to getting taken care of.
Now we are dreaming of paint colors, lighting, new garage doors and what color shutters we would like. I stay up at night wondering what it will feel like to cook at a new stove and read in my sun porch?
Jim is actually spending time on decorating sites and scanning countless pages of foyer colors and basement layouts. Who knew we would ever be at THIS place?
So if I have been absent from The Journey it is because my Journey has been exhausting. It is because my Journey has been non-stop and chaiotic and it is far from over....and I am so excited!
