Like Jack once said..."I'mmmm backkkk"

Ok, so I'm back.  No, I wasn't so much gone, like to Italy or Paris ...so much.  I have been more in a vacuum of sorts....and the vacuum's name is Brock.
.....or the Brockasaurus Rex or Brocktober or Count Brockula....when you look at someone so much I guess you get more opportunity to play with the name of that someone!

You see, I am the proud parent of Brock...a boy...a endless ball of chubby, adorable, hungry NEED!  He naps for seconds, he eats endlessly, he plays for mere moments and all the time that is happening he sucks me into his little world of cute with ONE, yes ONE dimple and these damn blue eyes that just draw you in like a magpie to a jewel.  Damn you eyes!

Ok, that's not fair to blame just Brock for my lack of enthusiasm for blogging the last month.  Let's be honest there are a few moments in the day that I am not wiping barf, changing diapers or holding said four month old.  I mean I do go to bed at 7:30 and watch TV, I could blog then if I REALLY wanted to.  So what is it?  Why no Journey?  Well to be honest I just wasn't feeling it.  I just felt like I was writing to nobody.  That nobody really cared that I poured my heart, feelings, pain, happiness...life... out on paper five days a week.  I felt like it just didn't matter any more...



but it did.  I started getting people asking "why aren't you writing?" and saying, "I miss your blog Meredyth!"  Really?  You do?  You noticed?

I mean I know how many people are reading a day...hundreds..truly... but I didn't feel like it mattered.

I have always written this because I felt I had a purpose to write it and for a while there I felt like I lost my voice, I felt like I started writing for some other reason and everything just got all messed up.

Perhaps it was a mixture of trying to work Brock into my routine, find my voice and realize that even if everyone stopped reading...if I have one person reading, that's ok, even if that one person is Cody.  Yeah, Cody called and asked why I stopped writing my blog...and I quote "I got nothin else to read!"...Thanks Code...love you to.

So here goes...I'm back..so leave a comment, it only takes a second and perhaps you will inspire me to write about something really juicy like Joey Gorga or "Infiltrate Wall Street" or Red Fork Pizzas...yeah, I've been gone but I still have ideas.  I've just been keeping them to myself...not any more!!!
