ONE WHOLE YEAR!!!
WOW! It has been an entire year since I started Journey 2 Health! I can't believe that I have been ranting and sharing and blabbing on for an entire year now. Who knew?
Years ago when I would hear about blogging I would think "why in the world would anyone blog...it's just so dumb!" And then my sister-in-law told me about a blogger that makes $40,000 a month and I decided that perhaps blogging isn't so dumb after all.
So I have been writing for a year. I get up every morning, sit down to my computer and just go. Sometimes I have been up all night with a topic (or two) swirling around my head and sometimes I open the laptop with absolutely nothing to talk about. Sometimes I laugh at what I am writing and sometimes I will sit typing, blinded by tears.
This last year has been incredibly therapeutic, and this blog, via writing, has allowed me to move forward from fears, pains, sadness and challenges. This blog has given me a voice on topics that I feel are important and has quieted the swirling of thoughts in my mind.
If you would have told me a year ago that I would still be waking up every (or almost every) weekday and writing...I wouldn't have believed it. Yet here I sit...a whole year later and still going!!
I have a strong following of people that read my blog, check out my pictures and are a part of my little community and it makes me feel very dedicated to Journey 2 Health.
This last year has been an incredible journey. I have had another baby (#4!!), Cody has moved to Ohio to live with his dad, Jim has just recently stated a new project at work (haven't discussed that yet) and I have continued to grow as a wife, a mom and as a woman.
The Journey is what life is all about. The Journey is where we figure out what we want and what we like and it is how we move from one place to another. My Journey is to find health... health of the mind, of the body and of the soul.
I hope you decide to continue to follow my Journey 2 Health...I promise, if nothing else it should be interesting!
