Whole Foods is not for Sissys!

When I got to Whole Foods the other day I attempted to put Emersyn in the shopping cart.  She was like a cat in water, she had her legs every which way but in the leg wholes.  I finally crammed her in, and got the seat belt around her...She was literally screaming bloody murder.  I tried bribing her with a grape, didn't work.  An employee tried to give her a whole apple, didn't word.  A customer brought over his baby son to try and cheer her up,  didn't work.   SHE WAS PISSED and she wanted out of that cart!  I really didn't want anyone in the store to have to endure one more minute of her YELLING so I let her out, threatened her life that she had to stay by me, and I let her walk.  This is her new cart thing, she refuses to go in any shopping carts, high chairs, strollers..so fun, love 2.

So she was doing really well staying next to me and it was a quick trip so I figured she would last the duration.   We finally made our way to the frozen food isle and Emersyn was dancing and singing as we walked down the isle.

Mind you she was not yelling or crying or running, that insanity all stopped in the produce department a few minutes after we got to the store.

As we made our way down the isle, I looked up and there is this woman IN HER 60'S (my new least favorite age group, sorry moms) with her hand to her ear and making this "that-is-so-loud-it-is-hurting-my-ear" face.  The rage inside of me...This isn't an old age home ya witch, it's a freaking grocery store!!  I was instantly pissed.  I just looked right at her, made a face right back and said, "SHE'S TWO, WHATTA YA WANT ME TO DO?!"  Then I grabbed Emersyn's hand and we walked away.  I then very loudly told Emersyn, "She just can't handle kids having fun since her kids were probably always CRYING!!" OH, YES,  I went all Jersey on her...watch out world, I've been living East Coast...biatches!!

Her husband was so pissed at her!! I loved it. They didn't even hit the pre-made food area, the bakery or anything. He headed her straight for the check-out.  I watched VERY closely.

Then as I was checking out I watched the evil, angry, never-gettin-any woman walk 6 feet behind her husband as he ran to the car.  I love Whole Foods, the cashiers there are amazing, the employees in all the departments are fabulous, I actually get in a good mood just stepping in the place, but lady, don't mess with my daughter, and don't mess with my soy chips!
