M.I.L.F. Rude or C.O.M.P.L.I.M.E.N.T?
Cody came home from school the other day and asked me what a M.I.L.F. is.
So I told him what M.I.L.F. stood for.
He looked curiously at me.
Then I said...."yeah, that's me..I get that a lot ya know.." He started cracking up.
Do you think someone calling you, or another woman a M.I.L.F. is a rude comment or a compliment? What would you do if one of your kid's friends called you this? What would you do if you overheard a friend calling your wife this?
Now discuss.....THAT MEANS LEAVE A COMMENT!!! GEEZE..

I think that would be rude. Can you imagine being known as THAT to your kids? Yikes! I think if I heard one of my kids' friends (assuming they are over the age of 7 which is my oldest) I would have to get over the initial heart attack lol but I would ask to not be called that EVER again. Can you call someone's mom beautiful? absolutely! M.I.L.F. ? Don't think so.
ReplyDeleteI think being called a MILF is very sexual. I wanna be a MILF so I am not sure what that says about me. I think one has to be careful how we talk about women and mothers but I think i am done being on the fence.

ReplyDeleteThe thing is, it can be used by your husband. It doesn't mean that kids only can refer to one as a MILF, as long as you are a mom, you qualify, and as long as someone's calling or thinking it, well...they'd like to, ya know
Ashamed to say I am torn. If my hubby calls me that I think.. Yes he thinks the mom of his kids is hot! Woot Woot! But I have also been informed by my son (19) and my oldest daughter (16) that they have had to correct some of their friends from calling me that... in one way I am flattered that they think I still look good at 40. In another I am horrified at the wording and the implication it carries...
